Social Events

 As French expatriates there are certain aspects of our culture that we do miss. We are trying to re-create some of these aspects here in Boston and share them with you. During all social events, French natives and teachers are here to encourage conversation and correct you, if you wish to be corrected. We believe it is important to practice your French outside of the classroom in a real life setting.

L’HEURE BLEUE: Aperitif at one of our clients’ home once a month. Discussions around current political and cultural affairs. $15 payable to French in the City on the night of the event.

FRENCH ATTITUDE: Dress up and join us at the Four Seasons Hotel to talk, act, drink and play like the French. Discussions around politics, philosophy, and love (mainly love). Talking about work and money is strictly forbidden! $15 payable to French in the City on the night of the event.

FRENCH IN STYLE: For women only. High Tea at the Taj Hotel on Arlington Street. First Wednesday of each month at 4:00 pm. Discussion around everything women need to talk about (men, shoes, bags and George Clooney). $15 payable to French in the City on the day of the event.

CHEF IN THE CITY: Once a month a French chef will be teaching you (in French) a secret recipe. Bring your aprons to some of the most famous French restaurants of the city. We cook and we share the meal afterwards. 3 hour event usually on Saturday morning. $150 per person payable to French in the City. Prior registration necessary.

DINER EN VILLE: Prix fixe dinner at some of the best French restaurants of the city with French people and American francophiles.
